I forgot to mention this in my last post, so I will share it now.
I have a confession to make: I have become hopelessly addicted to reruns of The Nanny on Lifetime.
I go through cycles where I become obsessed with one show or another. In the past, shows such as Wings, Friends, Star Trek: TNG, Picket Fences, Northern Exposure, Seinfeld, Golden Girls, Designing Women, and all three flavors of Law & Order have held the honored position. Anytime they were on TV, I was compelled to watch them (when they're in syndication of reruns.)
This latest obsession is a surprise to me. The Nanny used to annoy the hell out of me. I flipped past it a few times, and stopped. It grew on me, much like a malignant tumor.
However, I'm not asking for help in freeing myself from the monster I call Fran Drescher. I'm happy in my whiny-voice induced bliss, and I don't plan to quite anytime soon. During Christmas break, I'll be able to catch episodes in the daytime, too.
It's good to have a focus in life.
